Welcome to the new Acrylic Goat blog! I previously had an Android focused blog at Blogger, but decided to move everything under one roof.

The blog will mostly be about technology, but may throw in other topics such as books I reading or other topics. Most posts I've done in the past have been short solutions to problems I've had difficulty resolving. Writing about new concepts and solutions helps me internalize the knowledge.It also forces me to look deeper so I can make sure I'm explaining things correctly.

To introduce myself, I've being involved with software development for many years as a developer, engineering manager and tech lead. My current work is highlighted on this web site. I was also a music major (percussion) and spent a few years as a junior high and high school band director.
